Dr. Schanne is the first urologist in Delaware to perform the da Vinci robotic prostatectomy. He has performed over 250 Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic surgeries and is the first urologist in Delaware to perform daVinci Robotic Partial Nephrectomy, Robotic Prostatectomy, Robotic Cystectomy, Robotic Nephrectomy, Robotic Ureteral Reimplantation, Robotic Nephroureterectomy and Robotic Fistula Repair. Dr. Schanne is the Chairman of Urology at St. Francis Hospital and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr Schanne completed four years on active duty as a Urologist at Martin Army Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia in May 2003. Prior to that he was a resident in Urology at the University of Pennsylvania Health Center. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson Medical College and attended Villanova University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Desperito is trained in robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery, focused on robotic prostatectomy. He also provides advanced therapies for female incontinence and pelvic prolapse as well as all forms of kidney stone therapies.
Dr. Desperito completed Urology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health Center in June 2003. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical College and attended the United States Military Academy. He served four years in the Army and was a Helicopter pilot in Germany during the first Gulf War.

Dr Rao was the Chairman of Urology at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE for 30 years through August 2008. Dr. Rao trained as a urology resident at St. Lukes Hospital at Columbia-Presybterian Health System in New York, NY.
